You are THE CHURCH ... and the CHURCH gathered together is the Ecclesia. The primary job of the Ecclesia (the church gathered) is to equip soldiers for the spiritual war taking place where we live, work, and play. The Ecclesia (gathering of believers IS NOT for unbelievers. Sure ... unbelievers can come, but this gathering is NOT for them; it is to equip soldiers for the war that is taking place in the worlds that we resdide.
This thought struck me while watching Sam, a fr...iend of mine, making a window frame from scratch. The detail he put into his final product was amazing! He left no stone unturned so that the final product would be the best it could be.

So ... why is it that the ecclesia (the gathering of believers) thinks it can produce spiritual warriors (true disciples) by just involving them in never ending Bible studies that lead people to "ever grow but never come to THE KNOWLEDGE thereof." Why do we play this game week after week with no sense of urgency as to the fact our world around us are falling apart.
We must seek to separate the wheat from the chaff in our assemblies. Not in hat, but in love. We do this through the God-given tool called discipleship. Discipleship, if Biblically applied, will accomplish the task of separating the wheat from the chaff. It will also produce warriors that have the confidence to go out into the highways and the hedges, compelling them (the unsaved) to come in (into the family of God, not the church).
Then ... we as a Body gathered (the ecclesia) can lovingly go about equipping them for the work of the ministry together.
Let's stop playing games as the eccleisa. There is a war going on all around us! We must equip soldiers for this war or we will continue to see the privilege we have a believers to worship God taken away from us.
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
